The Von Kottwitz line of heavy metal necklaces, earrings, and bracelets by Nina Stotler is developed by her youth in Berlin. Having developed an industrial, Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic, she began making pearl and nickel nut-adorned chains as customized gifts for her friends. Now she’s producing them full-time from her Brooklyn studio. Each one is crafted by Stotler herself, truly a luxurious piece of wearable art.

Stella McCartney fragrance necklace
f you found yourself lusting over Stella McCartney’s Spring collection—that denim pinafore and ivory strapless jumpsuit (with pockets!) come to mind—but have already accepted the sad reality that you won’t be able to eat, pay rent, and look that amazing this Spring, we have a small consolation prize for you. Thanks to her limited-edition fragrance necklace, wearing Stella just got a little more affordable. Stamped with the Stella McCartney logo, the silver-tone locket slides open to reveal a pan of the rose, peony, and amber eau. The $49 must-have hits Sephora stores beginning next week, and we’d suggest making an early run since it’ll likely be a big hit with Valentine’s Day shoppers; jewelry and fragrance in one is kind of a no-brainer.

“This design is a top, and a skirt. The top is made by news-papers, and the skirt by tulle. (I’m, not sure what the right word is…)
I took about 8 hours to made, i think, so that’s not that much.” -Lisa Kruse

Overview: “I am a photographer. I love fashion and modeling. I go to school for photography. I am hoping to one day work for a magazine. Or maybe be a model… who knows!”
1. Describe your style in 5 words or less:
“chic, eclectic, vintage, flirtatious.”
2. What are your greatest fashion influences?
“vogue, lykke li, zooey deschanel, and numerous fashion blogs online.”
3. Favorite designers:
“luella, jeffrey campbell, yves saint laurent, dior.”
4. Whose closet would you want to raid?
“lykke li’s for sure.”
5. Favorite accessories:
“copper cuff, lots of chains and necklaces, and many rings.”
6. Where do you shop?
“urban outfitters, american apparel, forever 21, lost and found vintage, pitaya, and many thrift stores in my area.”
7. Who’s your best shopping partner?
“my friend erin. i feel completely comfortable shopping around her and she is good at giving me an honest opinion. and she always asks me, “what would you wear with it?” and it makes me be more conscious when I am buying things.”
8. Favorite trend of all time:
“hmmmmm… leather jackets are booming again. i recently purchased my first good one. i think that’d be my favorite since i wear mine all the time. though i also really love the latest trend that has made a comeback, fur coats. it’s so fun.”

“comfort probably over style. i don’t really own anything that isn’t comfrotable. the only thing i think that could be uncomfortable that i purchase would be shoes… and i try to buy shoes that are relatively comfortable. though i have bought some cheap ones that aren’t at all… and well, i never wear them. haha.”
10. Ultimate shopping advice:
“i go straight for sale racks. i almost exclusively shop the sale racks when I am at the mall. it works! and try to visit thrift stores and spend at least an hour digging through clothes… you’re sure to find a gem!”

:)
I met a stranger named Alex who made me an impromptu poem about my missing book, which I left somewhere after a meeting.
It was just another day
an unsuspecting day
when Aya lost her book
When she was on her way.
You might say she’s clumsy
but here I say, look
it could happen to anyone
and it was just a book.
So before you accuse her
take a look in the mirror
how many things have you lost
Things old, things past.
So here’s one for Aya’s book
Hopefully it will find
a new, comfortable nook
to sit nestled in someone’s lap
and retire with a sudden clap.

This is It! with the Cebu Inmates and Travis Payne
Michael Jackson’s long-time choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid came to visit the Cebu, Philippines inmates and teach them numbers from THIS IS IT. Good job you guys. I was completely blown away.
The choreography was finished in just two days. Watch out for Will deVaughn’s cameo role.hahaha! Professionally filmed by Sony Pictures. Beautiful crisp effect.
Here is the making of This is It’s Cebu Dancing inmates stint. it brought coreographer Travis Payne to tears.
and a report as seen on TV Patrol by Karen Davila. oh, I wish I was there too.

I almost shaved my head like this…
7 months ago, i seriously thought of partially shaving my head like this. I was sane enough to shove the idea off though. I don’t think it will fit me at that point (and up until now) and besides, I am so used to my Violet Incredible (The Incredibles) hair.
Just recently, making a debut at the Pringle 2010 campaign is the ghostly gorgeous Tilda Swinton in a severe blonde undercut that some say are borrowed Kate Lanphear’s slick shaved look. I don’t really care. I just hope this wouldn’t come to be a like “the Mariel” hairstyle (inspired by Victoria Bekham’s long front shorte back hair) where every salon in town and every chick in Manila tried to rock.

Jil Sander – Fall Winter 2010/2011 by Raf Simons
clean, easy, and in a hurry?!
hot.
It always appeals to me when men are dressed in a clean and simple manner -just like the collection by Raf Simons for Jil Sander – Fall Winter 2010/2011. Simons showcased a tailored line that focused on shape and a forth-looking approach, using texture and construction to define a confident masculinity. Precise tailoring with an unconstrained appeal, it depicted bright interventions of ivory, beige, oyster and dove. I actually like that the walk implied a strong, energetic but calm character reflecting the sharpness of the lines and the ease of the colors. Though I can’t really imagine my boyfriend wearing the pieces head to toe, especially the hair. No no. But I could imagine him with maybe one of each of them like for a business meeting or for an ordinary day with his Pumas/ Adidas.
