C: “Feminist, flippant, and fun.”
A: “Eclectic and Fun”
2. What are your greatest fashion influences?
C: “Great street style: the work of Vanessa Jackman and Scott Schumann are definite influences on my aesthetic.”
A: “Bloggers and Street Style”
3. Favorite designers:
C: “Dion Lee has got to be the number one up-and-coming designer in Australia for me.”
A: “Alexander Wang, Zimmermann, Ellery and Sass & Bide”
4. Whose closet would you want to raid?
C: “Alexa Chung – I wouldn’t mind having those legs either.”
A: “Taylor Momsen!”
5. Ultimate accessory:
C: “Millinery: there’s nothing that completes an outfit like an excellent hat.”
A: “Cocktail ring (I’m also going to sneak in a body chain harness in here)”
6. Where do you shop clothes and shoes?
C: “I love vintage (read: cheap) clothing, so op shops and markets are my favourite haunts.”
A: “Well, let’s just say I shop everywhere! From online shopping such as eBay or blog shops to the local thrift stores. I can never get enough of highstreet chain stores such as Topshop, Zara, Sportsgirl and Wittner (for shoes).”
7. Who’s your best shopping partner?
C: “My sister, of course! She’s stylish, dreadfully honest, and won’t let me buy things I can’t afford.”
A: “It would have to be my best friend and graphic designer Nina and Coco of Not So Naked.”
8. Favorite trend of all time:
C: “Ankle-breaking vertiginous heels.”
A: “Socks with heels”
9. Fashion Trend I hate:
C: “I don’t like to compartmentalise certain trend and say I’d never wear them, because with enough creativity and effort, almost everything can look good in some way or form. I can’t think of anything I hate enough to list!”
A: “No offense but I really don’t like kitten heels”
10. I’d rather be dead than be caught wearing..
C: “I’d rather be caught dead than wearing a negative attitude. Inner beauty is far more important to me than style.”
A: “I’d rather be dead than be caught wearing track suit pants tucked into Ugg boots out in public. “
11. style over comfort? Or comfort over style?
C: “Style > comfort every time.”
A: “Definitely style over comfort”
12. How do you differentiate your style from one another?
C: “The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Amanda’s style is layering and vibrance. I think her style is much brighter than mine; it’s very detailed whereas mine tends more toward grunge.”
A: “I would say that Coco’s style is more carefree and effortless where as I seem to get a bit more technical with what I wear.”
13. Ultimate shopping advice:
C: “If you can’t easily see yourself wearing it, don’t buy it. (I’ve learnt from experience!)”
A: “Don’t spend too much on something you know you’re only going to wear once.”
